Bengal Badminton Academy is a trust registered under the Indian Trusts Act, 1882under rule 21 of West Bengal Registration Rules, 1933 amended in 1984. It is also recognized under section 80G & 12AA of the Income Tax Act; contributions to the trust are eligible for tax exemptions. The multifarious activities of the Bengal Badminton Academy require access to adequate funds. The major source of funds is donations; fees from players meet a small part of the expenses.
