As a part of its activity, the BBA has decided to introduce a Sponsorship Scheme for promising young players to encourage them to compete at the State and National levels and win laurels for state as well as themselves.The Selection procedure:<\/p>\n<p><strong>Eligibility Tournament:<\/strong> Junior State Badminton Championships:<\/p>\n<p><strong>Events:<\/strong> All Singles Events<\/p>\n<p><strong> Eligible players for consideration by selection committee:<\/strong> All Singles Semifinalists<\/p>\n<p><strong>Total no players eligible for scholarships<\/strong> 16<\/p>\n<p><strong>Term of the Sponsorships:<\/strong> 1 Year<\/p>\n<p><strong>Other terms of selection:<\/strong> The selection committee will judge the eligible players and select the players depending up on performance, financial conditions, participation in national tournaments, behavior, character etc.<\/p>\n<p>To avail of the scholarship the player even need not play\/practice\/take coaching under Gopichand East Zone Badminton School centres of Bengal Badminton Academy. In other words he\/she can continue to play\/practice wherever he\/she is doing at present.<\/p>\n<p>The sponsorship for different categories will consist of the following deliverables:<\/p>\n<p>Category A \u2013 Rs.5800\/- per quarter &amp; YONEX kit worth Rs. 17000\/-<br \/>\nCategory B \u2013 Rs.3900\/- per quarter &amp; YONEX kit worth Rs. 15000\/-<br \/>\nCategory C \u2013 Rs.2900\/- per quarter &amp; YONEX kit worth Rs. 14000\/-<\/p>\n<p>The selected players will be informed by BBA in due course and other terms and conditions will be illustrated in the SPONSORSHIP CONTRACT<br \/>\n<strong><\/strong><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"pdf\/BENGAL_BADMINTON_ACADEMY_SCHOLARSHIPS_SCHEME_2011.pdf\" target=\"_blank\">DOWNLOAD PDF<\/a><\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<\/tbody>\n<\/table>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>BBA Scholar Sponsorships supported by Sunrise Sports (I) Pvt Ltd and YONEX.
