Just by<br \/>\nplaying games alone will not be enough. Spend some time and effort in your Badminton Training. You\u2019ll<br \/>\nbecome a better Badminton Player.Here are some Badminton Drills that you can practice on to improve your game.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Shadow Badminton<\/strong><br \/>\nThis is to practice the correct movement and technique without actually hitting a shuttle. Get a partner<br \/>\nto help direct you to the areas of the court, making sure that you cover the backcourt, midcourt, and<br \/>\nthe frontcourt with both your forehand and backhand.<\/p>\n<p>Commit fully during this practice as you would in any competition. Imagine that you are playing against a<br \/>\nworld class player. It will definitely improve your movement on court and fitness.<br \/>\n<a href=\"http:\/\/bpaindia.in\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/09\/shadow.gif\"><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\"alignnone wp-image-597 size-full\" src=\"http:\/\/bbaindia.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/09\/shadow.gif\" alt=\"shadow\" width=\"400\" height=\"199\"><\/a><\/p>\n<p><strong>Wall Rally Drill<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Take an old shuttle and hit it against the wall. Hit the shuttle with your forehand and backhand,<br \/>\nstraight or diagonal. It can be used for practicing almost every stroke. It is a good way to<br \/>\nimprove footwork, strengthen the arm and wrist muscles used in badminton.<\/p>\n<p>The wall should be at least 20 feet high to accommodate clears. The practice will be more effective if<br \/>\nyou can show the height of the net with a chalk line or a string, 5 feet above the ground.<\/p>\n<p>As the shuttle rebounds so fast from the wall, your wrist will naturally come into play. You will<br \/>\nlearnhow to switch grips at an instance as well. You will be amazed on your improved reflexes the next<br \/>\ntime you step on court.<\/p>\n<p>Hitting a shuttle against a wall is an effective practice at all levels of plays.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Multiple Shuttles<br \/>\n\u2013 Overhead Strokes<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The more shuttles you have, the better for this routine. The feeder plays the shuttles into<br \/>\ndifferentareas of your backcourt. You will then use your forehand, backhand or around the head to play<br \/>\nthe clears, drop shots or smashes. Return to your base position after each shot.<\/p>\n<p>This badminton drill is meant to improve your speed and accuracy in executing overhead strokes. You have<br \/>\nto remember that merely reaching the shuttles is not enough.<\/p>\n<p><strong>You have to play quality shots to the other side.<\/strong><br \/>\n<a href=\"http:\/\/bpaindia.in\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/09\/multiple_shuttle.gif\"><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\"alignnone wp-image-596 size-full\" src=\"http:\/\/bbaindia.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/09\/multiple_shuttle.gif\" alt=\"multiple_shuttle\" width=\"400\" height=\"199\"><\/a><\/p>\n<p><strong>Multiple shuttles \u2013 Net Play<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Again, you will need a lot of shuttles for this routine. The feeder throws the shuttles to your net area.<br \/>\nYou will then decide whether to play a net shot, a net kill or a net lift with your forehand or<br \/>\nbackhand. Return to your base position after each shot.<\/p>\n<p>This badminton drill is meant to improve your net play and your movement on court. The quality of your<br \/>\nreturn is important. Pay attention to it or this practice will not be effective.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/bpaindia.in\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/09\/ms_net_play.gif\"><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\"alignnone wp-image-595 size-full\" src=\"http:\/\/bbaindia.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/09\/ms_net_play.gif\" alt=\"ms_net_play\" width=\"400\" height=\"199\"><\/a><\/p>\n<p><strong>Half Court Singles<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Playing half court singles can improve footwork and increase stamina. It will train you to play more<br \/>\naccurate shots with all strokes as well. It is fun to play and effective in improving your game.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/bpaindia.in\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/09\/king.gif\"><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\"alignnone wp-image-594 size-full\" src=\"http:\/\/bbaindia.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/09\/king.gif\" alt=\"king\" width=\"400\" height=\"255\"><\/a><br \/>\n<strong>King of the Court<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>This game is useful when you are with a lot of players. It is enjoyable and can improve your<br \/>\noverallgame.It is played with the normal rules and regulation. You can set the winning condition,<br \/>\nnormally whoever reaches 3 points first wins.<\/p>\n<p>The winner will stay in the court as king while another player will take him on. The king will stay on<br \/>\nuntil he looses. The eventual winner of that duel will then switch to the other side of the court<br \/>\nbecoming king.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/bbaindia.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/09\/king.gif\"><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\"alignnone wp-image-594 size-medium\" src=\"http:\/\/bbaindia.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/09\/king-300x191.gif\" alt=\"king\" width=\"300\" height=\"191\" srcset=\"https:\/\/bbaindia.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/09\/king-300x191.gif 300w, https:\/\/bbaindia.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/09\/king-150x95.gif 150w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 300px) 100vw, 300px\" \/><\/a><br \/>\n<strong>2 Versus 1<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>If you want to improve your singles play, this is a badminton drill that you can\u2019t do without. It<br \/>\nisplayed on a singles court and is great for improving fitness, speed around the court, footwork and shot<br \/>\naccuracy.<\/p>\n<p>The two players on one side of the court must assume a front back position and play as they would in a<br \/>\nsingles match.
