Rituparna Das India no. 1 shuttler in Ladies Singles interacted with the Badminton players of West Bengal organized by BENGAL BADMINTON ACADEMY at Ordnance Club, Kolkata on 12TH APRIL 2014. .
Leading shuttlers of the state like Sheshadri Sanyal, Rupsa Ghosh , Rajdeep Mitra, Esha Ghosh, Adriza Biswas, Arunita Basu, Sourav Das were among 50 youngsters , who participated in this interactive sessions with this highly talented player of GOPICHAND ACADEMY, Hyderabad. Rituparna expressed her pleasure after attending the session and observing standard of the players & assured to come again to play with the budding badminton players of the Academy.
Rituparna was felicitated by fifty budding players of BBA after the sessions. Along with other attractive mementos, BBA players also presented a cheque for Rs.25, 000.00 to their dear player. Former State Badminton champions of West Bengal Mrs. Dipa Chattopadhyay, Mr. Subrata Banerjee, BBA–Trustee Dileep Singh Mehta were among the dignitaries present in the occasion.
Speaking to the occasion, Sri Dileep Singh Mehta of BBA expressed his thankfulness to Rituparna for delivering valuable tips to budding players and sharing her international experience.
