Olympian, Commonwealth Games medalist & former India no. 1 shuttler Mr. Nikhil Kanetkar conducted a clinic-cum-workshop for the badminton players of West Bengal organized by BENGAL BADMINTON ACADEMY on 14th Fabruary, 2014. Leading shuttlers of the state like Sheshadri Sanyal, Rupsa Ghosh ,Shouvik Ghosh, Rajdeep Mitra,Esha Ghosh, Arunita Basu were among 100 youngsters , who participated in this workshop . Mr. Kanetkar expressed his happiness after conducting the clinic and standard of the players & assured to come again to guide the budding badminton players of the Academy.
Mr. Kanetkar was felicitated by BBA after the workshop. Former Davis Cupper Mr. Enrico Piperno, former state badminton champion of West Bengal Mrs. Dipa Chattopadhyay and Mr. Rajesh Pandey, IAS, Sports Secretary, Govt. of West Bengal ,BBA –chairman Dr. Subrata Gupta,IAS were among the dignitaries present in the occasion.
